COMMUNITY INTEGRATION COMMITTEE
For several years now, the Probe Gold team has been hard at work developing the Novador gold project in Val-d’Or. Work on the environment impact study will begin in 2025, as the project is subject to the federal and provincial government authorization processes. Committed to advancing the Novador project by maintaining a constructive and proactive dialogue with the communities, organizations and individuals affected by it, the team wishes to establish a committee to integrate the project into the community. The committee’s mandate will be to advise the team to ensure that the project is in harmony with the community’s needs and values and brings maximum positive benefits while having minimum negative impact.
To ensure the impartiality of the selection process, the Novador project team has entrusted the responsibility to MU Conseils, a specialist in participatory strategies and an independent third party.
Candidates selected to participate in the committee’s work will be announced at the end of the year, and working meetings will begin in winter 2025.
