Probe Gold is proud to have contributed financially to the Lac Simon Pow Wow, an authentically Indigenous celebration, held on July 20 and 21, 2024. In honor of change, a step toward healing, and also honoring diversity, this meaningful cultural event provided an excellent opportunity to discover and celebrate Anishnabe culture. Through dances, songs and various cultural activities, the Pow Wow provided an opportunity to share Indigenous traditions, thereby strengthening community ties.
Probe Gold is proud of this event, which attracted several hundred people, including members of different Indigenous nations as well as non-Indigenous people. This enthusiasm is a testament to the importance and appeal of the Pow Wow, fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of Indigenous culture by a broad audience.
