Position summary
The company is seeking an experienced Exploration Manager to lead exploration activities for the Novador project and property portfolio in Eastern Canada. Reporting to the Vice President, Exploration and collaborating with the Novador project development team, this leadership role is responsible for driving the exploration strategy, managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and advancing high-priority gold projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of exploration geologists (total staff: +10).
• With senior management, define longterm exploration vision and design exploration programs (drilling, mapping, geochemistry, geophysics).
• Manage property portfolios, including exploration rights.
• Establish, monitor, and control exploration budgets (drilling and non-drilling).
• Ensure compliance with Quebec’s environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Oversee the issuance of exploration permits and ensure adherence to government requirements. Work closely with the development and permitting teams for the exploration activities over the Novador project.
• Present exploration results monthly and annually to senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify and evaluate new property opportunities.
• Select, supervise, and evaluate external consultants supporting exploration activities.
Required qualifications
• Master’s degree in Geology (preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in preciousmetal exploration; mining experience is an asset.
• Indepth knowledge of orogenic gold deposits and their formation processes.
• Strong understanding of Canadian exploration techniques : drilling, geophysics, geological mapping and geochemical soil sampling
• Solid knowledge of resource modeling and estimation (NI 43101).
• Familiarity with geological and geotechnical parameters for PEA, PFS, and FS stages.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Ordre des géologues du Québec.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Fluency in French and English (Spanish is an asset).

• Novador Project Exploration
• Mckenzie Project (MRE stage)
• Regional exploration programs
• New resource modeling and 3D geological interpretation
The role is primarily based in Vald’Or, with flexibility for partial remote work.
